Bird's Eye Insurance is one of Collin County's fastest growing independent insurance agencies. We specialize in both personal and commercial lines.Our agency is locally owned and operated and we're located in the heart of McKinney.
The Opportunity
Customer Service Representatives work from our McKinney office and are the first point of contact for Bird's Eye Insurance customers whether that is in person or over the phone. Since we pride ourselves on our award winning service, we are looking for best in class service professionals who will receive paid/on the job training and assistance to secure general lines P&C license if needed. This is a full time position for career focused individuals looking to start their career in the insurance industry.
Room for advancement is available for this position
Hours are 9 to 5 Monday-Friday
Salary will depend on experience - Commission Eligible

Who we are looking for
High School diploma or equivalent is required with a minimum of 12 months related work experience in Customer Service, Account Management, or Sales is preferred
Ability to review, record, and organize data from a variety of sources
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and the capacity to multi-task in a fast paced environment are required
Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information is critical
Computer proficiency is mandatory
Must be able to type a minimum of 35 WPM
Bilingual is not required but a plus
Responsibilities
Provides excellent, efficient, and friendly customer service to all current and potential customers.
Demonstrates understanding of policies to provide guidance and assistance to policy holders, whether in person, email, or over the phone.
Manages and utilizes time effectively to ensure the required service levels, customer satisfaction, and quality standards are met.
Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
Develops and continuously builds product, procedural, and technical systems knowledge.
Maintains accurate, detailed, and up to date information on all customers and interactions within the customer service database.
Completes licensing and continuing education requirements as mandated.
Other basic office duties as requested
