When I started my business, one of the things I struggled with was how to manage my daytime job along with running a business. I didn't want my clients to know that I was a one-woman show or that I had a full-time job outside of my business. I wanted to appear bigger than what I really was when all I was doing was putting more stress on myself, so eventually, I decided to just set the hours which still allowed me to be productive at work and keep my 9-5 (for now) and started being transparent with my clients. If these were my clients then they would understand. I stop focusing on things that I couldn't control and started focusing on what I could control.
One thing I realized is that most people will become repeat clients if they are pleased with the type of service they received which 100% in my control and so I did just that, I focused on providing the best customer experience I could provide because I knew that if I could master that and then all the other things I was worried about wouldn't even matter. In the end, my customer service was so on point that my clients didn't even notice that I was a one-woman show or that I had a 9-5 job.
