She graduated from Bradshaw Mountain High School in Prescott Valley and attended Yavapai College in Prescott. Her career began in 1982, as a Courier for First American Title Agency; back then, most people entered the profession this way. After only three months, Tina transferred to a commitment/policy typist position where she gained valuable training and experience in the Title industry. Three mo
nths later, she was faced with the choice to either stay in Title or move into an Escrow position as a receptionist. Escrow appeared to be the more exciting option and presented opportunities for growth and advancement. After two years of training with some of the best Escrow Officers in the State and completing various educational programs, Tina was promoted to an Escrow Officer position in 1985. Back then, Escrow transactions were handled without all the technology we have today, and were performed by hand using an electric IBM typewriter and a 10-key calculator. As life would have it, in 2003 Tina moved to Tempe to manage a branch for Chicago Title. After a year in the city and experiencing a new and different market, it became clear to Tina, that it was time to move her family back home to Prescott and manage a branch for Transamerica Title. While some aspects of the profession have been improved by technological advances, Tina believes there is something to be said for the "good ol' ways!" Business depended on the development of loyal relationships with realtors, lenders, and other stakeholders in the industry, and this sentiment remains a core value of our Team's philosophy today. Tina says,

Assistant Vice President, Certified Senior Escrow Officer, Certified Escrow Instructor
Kathy moved to Chino Valley, AZ, in October of 1979, graduated from Prescott High School in 1981, and began her career at Yavapai Title Agency in June of that same year. Kathy started as a commitment/policy typist and moved up the ranks over the years, working as an Escrow Assistant, Escrow Officer, and also managed several branch locations throughout the County. Kathy obtained her Certified Senior Escrow Officer designation in July, 1993, and her Certified Escrow Instructor designation in October, 2003. In 2010, Kathy teamed up with Tina Royse to become: The Royse Mountain Team. Kathy just celebrated 42 years with the Company, making her the 3rd most senior employee in Yavapai Title's 60 year history. She has seen a lot of changes throughout her time with the agency and is a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Her work ethic is simply unmatched, and she is well-respected for this. She is versed in many different types of transactions including splits, wraps, manufactured homes, business sales, business asset sales, commercial property, as well as modifications, assumptions, and deals involving 1031 exchanges. Assistant Escrow Officer
Tasha joined the Royse Mountain Team in 2021, as an Escrow Assistant and was promoted to an Assistant Escrow Officer in 2023. Though she started with no experience in the Title and Escrow industry, her 20 plus years of working with people through various roles in Social Services have enable her to connect with people from all walks of life. Tasha enjoys guiding clients through what can sometimes be a stressful process, while maintaining a sense of humor and care for the people she's working with. Tasha obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Human Behavior and an Undergraduate Certificate in Service Industry Management from Northern Arizona University in 2015. Heather Olsen
Escrow Assistant
Heather joined the Royse Mountain Team in 2023, as an Escrow Assistant. Heather began her career with Yavapai Title in 2002, in Customer Service. She also worked as a Policy Typist and spent time on the Recording Desk. Later, Heather worked as the Courier for many years where she cultivated relationships with agents and team members across the County. Following an accident that injured her knee, she gave up her beloved Courier role for a position as an Administrative Assistant. Subsequently, she was promoted to an Escrow Assistant position. Clients and coworkers alike love working with Heather; her fun demeanor and positive attitude have been a great addition to the Royse Mountain Team.
