After completing Robert O Anderson School of Business at University of New Mexico Steve Buckingham’s financial career started in 1982 serving customers for over 15 years as a Certified Financial Planner with a fortune 200 company. During this time, he has specialized in all facets of the industry including loan origination, wholesale lending, as well as underwriting. As an experienced home buyer himself for over 35 years he can share excellent knowledge and experience of the Real Estate markets with his clients. He is currently specializing in all aspects of Residential Real Estate Finance including VA Loans, FHA Loans, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Loans, Non-Conforming Jumbo Loans, and many more…whether it is a first-time home buyer needing down payment assistance or a seasoned buyer upgrading, picking up a second home or investment property he is willing to make it happen with his strong passion to help people and “whatever it takes’ attitude. He is always positive and upbeat and enjoys building long term relationships with his clients and their families. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his dear wife and enjoys playing golf, softball, and hoping soon to enjoy new grandkids.
