A lot of people may not know this about me, but I’m a proud Prescott Valley Early Bird Lion! 🦁💜
I didn’t start Safe Trick or Treat, but several years ago I was given the opportunity to take over organizing and overseeing the event, and this year will be my 6th year doing it! 🎃
I’m not always the most active Lion — mostly because Early Bird meetings and having little people at home don’t exactly go hand-in-hand 😂 — but I absolutely love this club and what it does for our community.
I’m incredibly proud of how much Safe Trick or Treat has grown over the years and of all the Lions, businesses, organizations and volunteers who come together to make it happen. It has truly become one of my favorite community traditions.
We also need more young Lions! If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved, serve our community and meet some pretty amazing people, come join us. And if you’d like to learn the ropes of Safe Trick or Treat and maybe take it over from me someday… I’m accepting applications. 😉😂
