We had a great time sponsoring the Disabled American Veterans Department of Louisiana State Convention this weekend! 🇺🇸

We loved getting the opportunity to connect with so many veterans and their families, hear their stories, and help educate attendees on VA home loan benefits and other programs that can make homeownership more affordable and accessible.

Some of the topics we discussed included:

• Using your VA home loan benefits more than once
• How remaining bonus entitlement may allow some veterans to purchase a new primary residence with a VA loan before selling their current home
• Property tax exemptions available to them eligible disabled veterans in Louisiana
• Common misconceptions about VA financing and eligibility

One of our favorite parts of the weekend was seeing how many veterans were surprised to learn they may still have benefits available to them that they didn’t realize they could use!
