Just because it doesn't show up on your credit report doesn't mean it goes unnoticed.

Christy's journey with us actually began as a client! As the spouse of a veteran, she experienced firsthand how important it is to work with a mortgage broker who truly understands VA loans and the unique guidelines that come along with them.

She was already in the process of becoming a licensed Loan Originator, and after experiencing the homebuying process with our team she knew this was exactly where she wanted to build her career and help others have that same experience.

We had a great time sponsoring the Disabled American Veterans Department of Louisiana State Convention this weekend! 🇺🇸

We loved getting the opportunity to connect with so many veterans and their families, hear their stories, and help educate attendees on VA home loan benefits and other programs that can make homeownership more affordable and accessible.

Some of the topics we discussed included:

• Using your VA home loan benefits more than once
• How remaining bonus entitlement may allow some veterans to purchase a new primary residence with a VA loan before selling their current home
• Property tax exemptions available to them eligible disabled veterans in Louisiana
• Common misconceptions about VA financing and eligibility

One of our favorite parts of the weekend was seeing how many veterans were surprised to learn they may still have benefits available to them that they didn’t realize they could use!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, asked questions, and shared a little of your story with us. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support and serve those who have served our country!
