In general you should have $1,000,000 of life insurance for every $50,000 of income. Some is better than none but too many people underinsured or relying only on supplemental life insurance from their employer. Take care of the ones you love and depend on you.

Some friends and clients have asked how our office is doing. As a quick update, we still have our doors open for the time being because our foot traffic has been pretty minimal. People are still buying homes, vehicles, and getting into accidents.

Most of our interactions have been over the phone and we've actually been pretty busy in that regard. In the last couple weeks I've personally switched a couple households from different companies saving them about $1000 each.

With regards to our life insurance applications, Farm Bureau Life is still actively working. I also confirmed this morning that our policies do NOT have a pandemic exclusion. Strange times that I'm sharing that fact.
With regards to the physical exams required on some policies,
"All ExamOne examiners performing life insurance exams are required to use the following:

· Examiners are required to wear gloves.

· Examiners are required to wear long sleeves, long pants, closed-toe shoes or scrubs.

· Examiners are required to wear facial protection that protects eyes, nose and mouth."
