I thought we were just stopping by for dessert.

Then somehow we ended up looking at claw machines, checking out collectibles, and wandering around the shop longer than expected 😂

feels less like a dessert shop and more like a fun little hangout spot in Convoy.

The desserts are cute, the drinks are colorful, and there’s enough going on inside to keep both kids and adults entertained.

POV: They did NOT hold back 👀

Tried the gyro wrap at ’s new Balboa location and was not expecting it to be this packed. The gyro meat was flavorful, the wrap was loaded, and honestly, one was enough to keep me full for hours.

Also worth trying: Greek fries, bowls, and frozen yogurt with honey.

Need a little color in your day? 🌈

is one of the most colorful spots we’ve visited in North Park. From handcrafted Mexican paletas and refreshing drinks to waffles on a stick and savory snacks, there’s something fun in every corner.

What really stood out was the vibe. Bright colors, playful details, and even a sensory room for kids make it feel like a place where families can actually hang out for a while instead of just grabbing dessert.

There’s something really comforting about eating food that comes out still sizzling to the table — and that was basically our whole experience at .

The popcorn chicken was easily one of our favorite dishes. Crispy, juicy, and super addictive. Their Birria Pho was also surprisingly satisfying, especially because they let you refill the noodles which honestly makes the bowl feel even more worth ordering. The tomyum pasta had a really rich flavor without being too heavy, and almost every hot plate we ordered came out still steaming.

Definitely feels like one of those spots where you go with friends, order a bunch of different dishes, and accidentally stay way longer than planned because everything keeps hitting.

No work today? Go get Korean BBQ 🔥

If you’re looking for an easy Memorial Day food idea, is one AYCE spot we’ve enjoyed before in Vista.

The marinated beef was our favorite — flavorful, tender, and cooks really well without drying out. Fast grills, simple setup, and that relaxed Korean BBQ atmosphere that makes it perfect for a long weekend meal.

Definitely a good spot to keep in mind for your next Korean BBQ craving.

There’s a new AYCE spot in Encinitas that dumpling lovers are probably going to get obsessed with. is now offering unlimited dumplings, noodles, small plates, drinks, and ice cream all in one meal.

The fun part is being able to keep ordering different rounds instead of committing to just one dish. Soup dumplings, noodles, fried bites, drinks on the side, then ending the meal with ice cream honestly makes the whole experience feel way more complete than a typical dumpling spot.

FYI — the Bao Tea Combo is separate from the AYCE menu, but definitely one of the more fun things to order on the side.

Perfect for group dinners when everyone wants to try a little bit of everything without overthinking the menu.

has been one of the newer revolving sushi spots getting popular in Chula Vista lately 🍣✨

The conveyor belt keeps rotating with different sushi, sashimi, hand rolls, fried appetizers, and small plates all night, so it’s really easy to keep trying different things without overthinking what to order.

We ended up grabbing a mix of fresh sashimi, specialty rolls, and hot food throughout the meal. Some plates disappeared a little too fast the second they came around 👀

The space also feels bigger and more relaxed compared to a lot of revolving sushi spots around San Diego, which made the whole dinner experience feel less rushed.

Convoy has so many dessert spots, but is still one we keep going back to 🤍✨

Their cream puffs are filled fresh after you order, so the shell stays light and crispy while the filling is cold and creamy inside. Simple dessert, but somehow always hits.

They also rotate seasonal flavors throughout the year, which makes it fun to try something different every time.

Hidden gem grocery store in Mission Valley 👀✨ is one of the most unique markets we’ve been to in San Diego.

Inside there’s a huge wine wall 🍾, fresh deli sandwiches 🥪, seasonal produce 🥬, smoothies, grab-and-go meals, and a full deli section all in one place.

They also focus on:
✔️ No seed oils
✔️ Grass-fed
✔️ Wild-caught
✔️ Seasonal produce

Definitely one to check out if you’re in the Mission Valley area.
