Farmers® now has four temporary relief sites open in several communities across Los Angeles County to provide frontline assistance.

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Jan. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- To provide additional frontline assistance to customers impacted by the multiple wildfires that continue to burn in the Los Angeles area, Farmers Insurance® has now opened four temporary relief sites staffed by specially-trained Catastrophe Response Team members and other support personnel.

Beginning Monday, January 13, impacted customers can visit any of the relief sites below for in-person claims assistance:

I know many have heard that Farmers Insurance DIRECT is pulling out of California. I want to be clear that is NOT the Farmers Insurance you think it is.

It is a subsidiary of the Farmers family that was direct to consumer, where you had no agent and you called into a call center. It’s a completely different business. We, at the Marc Nimetz Insurance Agency, and every other Farmers Insurance Agency are still here to help you and your families.

While there are eligibility changes and restrictions we’re constantly dealing with right now, the company has taken appropriate action to work toward correcting the issues we are facing as an industry right now. We are here, and we are still very open for business. 💙
