We apologize that our Pottsville office is closing at 3pm because the construction has made it impossible for anybody to even get to our office and it will take my employees approximately one hour to go 1 mile. We apologize for any inconvenience. Payments can still be dropped off and our Drums office remains open so please call 570-788-6000 if you need anything. Our 24 hour service will be turned on at 5pm. So today we have two more beautiful animals looking for forever homes. Both are available at Hillside SPCA. I have covered all of the adoption fees so please help us find the right homes! Here are their stories provided by the shelter:

Flash is a 7 year old lab who was surrendered due to his owners sadly passing away. He is good with other dogs & we can cat test him if needed!

Sandy is a 4 year old pitte who just came in due to owners not being able to care for her anymore. She is extremely friendly and food motivated. She doesn't seem to mind the other dogs and we can cat test her if needed.

Also, I had to pleasure to deliver pizzas from DiMaio's Mustard Seed to the employees at American Remodeling Enterprises Inc.

Niko is good with most other dogs and people and has lived with children! He would do best in a home with no cats. He is 8 years old but still has typical husky energy! He walks great on a leash and has a very clean kennel!

We are back to sponsoring animals and celebrating 15 years working with the great people of Hillside SPCA . We are honored to have found approximately 400 forever homes for these beautiful animals by working together.

Here is Biggie's story provided by the shelter:

Biggie is a 3-4 year old Cane Corso who was abandoned in a home with her brother Smalls - who is also at the shelter . They get along with each other but they would have to be the only pet. They aren’t extremely bonded so they can be adopted without each other. She will be fixed & microchipped prior to adoption and she is up to date on vaccines.
