For potential home buyers, it is important to educate yourself. Do not let the unknown scare you off from buying a home. If you are not ready, at least you know what to do moving forward. As with anything, education is key. I am always happy to help.

The majority of consumers think it is much harder to qualify for a home loan than it actually is, according to a recent Fannie Mae survey of more than 3,000 people.

This is good news and in part fueled by a decline in interest rates.

New Home Sales, which measures signed contracts on new homes, were up 4.5% in March, which was stronger than the 3% drop expected. Sales are up 3% year over year and are at their highest level in almost a year and a half.
