If you thought 3% mortgage rates were a thing of the past, you may want to read this.

I just published a new article on assumable FHA and VA mortgages and how they can create real opportunities for buyers in the Portland and Vancouver area.

A lot of people have no idea these loans even exist. In the right situation, a qualified buyer may be able to take over a seller’s existing low-rate mortgage instead of getting a brand-new loan at today’s rates.

I’m currently tracking more than 600 homes for sale in the greater Portland and Vancouver area with assumable FHA or VA loans, including more than 100 with rates below 3% and another 200 between 3% and 4%.
