NW Preferred Federal Credit Union A credit union for insurance professionals. We were established to serve the employees of Farmers Insurance Group in Portland, Oregon.

We started with 64 members and, by the end of the year, $1,907 in assets. In 2003, we were awarded the nation's first TIP charter allowing us to expand to serve licensed insurance professionals in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. In 2011 Oregon Banks Local rated us at the BEST financial institution in the Portland Metro and Salem areas, for our support of local consumers and small business owners. In

2017 the National Credit Union Administration approved our request to serve the licensed insurance industry nationwide. We also have a community charter (North Santaim) a branch in Stayton, Oregon.
