A1 Hawk A1 Hawk has been in the pawn industry for over 30 years! We are committed to helping our community🙏

Founded by Jimmy Pearson in 1987, A1 Hawk has proudly served the community for over three decades. Jimmy built the shop by treating everyone with respect and going out of his way to assist those in need because he truly cared. His unwavering commitment to making a positive impact and offering support is the foundation of our business, and his values continue to guide us every day. Today, A 1 Hawk is a second-generation, family-owned business, led by Jimmy’s daughters, Sarah and Tawnya, who grew up working side-by-side with their dad. They learned early on that being pawnbrokers is not just about transactions it’s about building lasting relationships with customers and making a difference in people’s lives during difficult times. At A 1 Hawk, we’re committed to offering personalized service and ensuring you find exactly what you’re looking for, whether it's a unique piece of jewelry, tools, electronics, sporting goods, or anything else. Our extensive inventory is designed to meet a wide variety of needs, and if you find yourself in need of quick cash, we offer 60-day collateral loans with a 30-day grace period, making the process smooth and simple. We’re also proud to have an experienced in-house jeweler with over 25 years of expertise. Whether you need jewelry repairs, resizing, cleaning, or custom work, our skilled jeweler is here to help with care and professionalism. We’re more than just a pawn shop we’re here for you, providing top-notch service and creating relationships that will keep you coming back for years to come.

Hi, my name is Steve Augustyn, and I am one of the owners of Silver Moon. I have three young boys who have all attended Silver Rail, and our youngest is in 4th grade at Silver Rail now. The school and the community have been a part of our lives for many years.

Some of you know me, and some of you may not. If you do know me, you know how much I love and care about this community and the well-being of people from all walks of life. I have always done my best to make sure Silver Moon is a place where everyone feels welcome.

Pubs were created to be gathering places for communities, and that is exactly what I hope we can be. A place where people can come together, support one another, and talk about what they’re feeling, whether it’s good, bad, sad, angry, happy, or anything in between.

This Wednesday, October 21st, I would like to invite you all to the pub to do just that.

100% of all sales and donations, not just the profit, but every dollar spent, will be donated to the families ( or a charity of their choosing) who have experienced loss from this tragedy.

I am doing this intentionally so there is no confusion about my motives. This is not about notoriety, publicity, or financial gain. I’m doing this for myself, for Silver Rail, and for a community that desperately needs a place to come together and support one another.

With love,
Steve & Marissa Augustyn
