Meet Bari, our Director of Operations! She helps keep JDF's people and day-to-day work moving in the right direction. This might include supporting a team member, working through a staffing question, improving a process, and usually handling something that wasnāt on her calendar when she arrived. It is rarely a dull day, and she likes it that way!
She started in the insurance industry as a temp employee in the mailroom on the carrier side. From there, she worked in billing, workersā comp, tow & glass claims, large property loss adjusting, and call center training. She joined JDF more than 25 years ago in reception, and moved through several departments including CSA and account manager roles, as well as a brief period in Commercial Lines before her current role. She is very proud of this path because starting in reception gave her an appreciation for the work happening across the agency.
Bariās favorite part about working for JDF is the people. She says sheās grown professionally here and enjoys helping others find their footing, grow in their roles, and do their best work. Even on the busiest days, someone always makes her laugh.
