We are honored to be hosting Compass Points this week at Pilgrim Firs! 🌲🧭

Compass Points is a first-of-its-kind certification program for camp and retreat professionals from across the UCC, Presbyterian, Methodist, Lutheran, and Episcopalian churches. Together we are widening our base of knowledge in this vital, specialized ministry. This course has been focused on articulating mission & values, which is foundational to all the work we do thereafter.

We had the pleasure of hosting Casting for Recovery this past week - a group that brings together breast cancer survivors for a time of fly fishing, connection, and rest at no cost to the participants. Watching them move from nervous first casts in our field to full-on laughter on our lake was a good reminder of why we do this work. We have a feeling this could be the start of a great new partnership 🎣❤

Sexuality education belongs in conversations about faith, relationships, justice, and what it means to be human.

That’s the heart of Our Whole Lives -- and this fall, you can be trained to bring it to your community. Join us for an OWL facilitator training and learn how to lead conversations that are honest, affirming, inclusive, and grounded in values.
