#10 Don’t quit your job to “find yourself.” The bank doesn’t care about your soul-searching trip to Bali.

#9 Don’t finance a brand-new car. Nothing screams “responsible borrower” like a orange Lamborghini in your driveway.

#8 Don’t open a dozen credit cards at Target. That free tote bag just cost you your dream home.

#7 Don’t ghost your lender. If they call, answer. This isn’t dating — it’s your mortgage.

#6 Don’t buy furniture for a house you don’t own yet. Nobody wants to explain to their in-laws why the living room set is sitting in a storage unit.

#5 Don’t gamble your down payment in Vegas. The roulette table is not “wealth-building strategy.”
