💙 Yesterday’s flooding in Groves was a reminder that it doesn’t take a hurricane or tropical storm to cause significant damage.

Our thoughts are with all of our neighbors, friends, and local businesses who experienced flooding and are now dealing with the cleanup and uncertainty that follows.

While we often think about flood insurance during hurricane season, flooding can happen from everyday storms when heavy rainfall overwhelms an area.

Unfortunately, many homeowners are surprised to learn that flood damage is not typically covered by standard homeowners insurance policies.

Today is about supporting our community and sharing information that may help families prepare for the future.

Rainy days like today are a good reminder that hurricane season is right around the corner here on the Gulf Coast. 🌧️🌪️

Now is the time to:
✔️ Review your windstorm coverage
✔️ Make sure flood policies are active and renewed
✔️ Check deductibles and coverage limits
✔️ Ask questions BEFORE storm season gets busy

And remember — it doesn’t have to be a named hurricane to cause damage. Summer storms, heavy rain, and strong winds can happen long before a hurricane ever makes landfall.

Don’t wait until there’s a storm in the Gulf to realize something wasn’t covered.

We just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to Officer Duvail and the entire Port Neches Police Department 💙👮♂️

After hours, Officer Duvail stopped by our office to check on the building and made sure everything was secure. She even left us a note letting us know all was good—and honestly, that kind of care and attention does not go unnoticed.

It means so much to know we have officers looking out for our community, even when no one’s watching. We are incredibly grateful for the men and women who go the extra mile to keep us safe every single day.
