We had an amazing time yesterday evening at the Campaign Celebration for the United Way of St. Clair County! As the Campaign Chair this past year, I was so inspired by the generosity of our neighbors helping neighbors in need, and it's truly been such a pleasure working alongside the United Way staff and countless volunteers, all united in one mission: providing support and resources to empower all St. Clair County residents to improve their quality of life. We're so excited for this next chapter for our local United Way, and all the new ways we'll be able to help even more people in our community!

There's still time to register for the United Way of St. Clair County's Campaign Celebration! Please join us next Wednesday, May 27, at 5:30PM at Solitude Links Golf Course & Banquet Center!

It has been an incredible honor to be the Campaign Chair this year, and I've been so inspired by the generosity I've seen for neighbors wanting to help other neighbors in need. It's also been a privilege to volunteer alongside leaders in our community, and I hope you'll join me next week in celebrating them, the successes from this year's Campaign, and most importantly - the future for our United Way of St. Clair County so we can continue to be there for our neighbors when they need us most!

MEET ELLA!

Ella Webb recently joined our team as a Summer Intern. She was born and raised in Marysville, where she graduated from Marysville High School before continuing her education at Western Michigan University. Ella is studying Business Law with future plans to attend law school and become a corporate lawyer.

Ella said "I am passionate about helping our neighbors and getting them excited and confident about the future. In my free time, I love to walk my dogs, Vinnie and River. I am excited to learn from the amazing women on this team!"

The St. Clair County Community Resource Fair is TOMORROW from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the St. Clair County Community College Fieldhouse! It's a one-day, one-stop event that brings caring people and valuable resources together to help individuals and families! Head Downtown Port Huron tomorrow to learn more about valuable resources in our community from a variety of human services organizations - plus you can get health screenings, giveaways, complimentary lunch, and personal care bags!

This FREE event will offer vendors tables from a variety of human service agencies and businesses, health screenings, giveaways, door prizes, a complimentary lunch, personal care bags, and a mobile food pantry. The mobile food pantry begins at 1:00 pm but the “take-a-number” registration allows you to hold your place in line while you visit the fair!
