Completed restructuring of a prior modification this afternoon and shaved $980 off of a customer's payment..rolled back $119,000 as forbearance and created a payment based on just over $300,000 @ 4.625% rate. Approximately $21,000 in arrears was included in the $119,000.

Received final approval on a Central Alabama lakefront home that we were able to save ...a 10 month process that required major patience and maneuvering. $50000 balance reduction, interest rate reduction from 7 to 4.5%, and $22000 of arrears thrown to the back of the loan, making him current!

To top it off the home was 17 days from the auction block...now cancelled..:)

Another fine example of a borrower who shouldn't be in foreclosure right now...made 4 payments with the lender who misappropriated the funds and placed in "unapplied funds". Was told that the combined payment would bring him current...instead was a few days from Sheriff's Sale notification. Situation was caught in time for us to fix--call AB Negotiators today for any and all mortgage related problems.

Another prime example of representatives not knowing their product line. On the phone with a representative who stated that they no longer do manual underwriting for their customers regarding modification products...then called back and got an upline manager who stated "she's probably new and doesn't know all of the program quirks".
