Fake Medicare Calls Are Still Targeting Seniors
Scammers often pose as Medicare representatives and claim you need a new Medicare card, updated benefits, or verification of your information.
They may ask for:
❌ Your Medicare number
❌ Social Security number
❌ Banking information
❌ Credit card information
Remember:
✅ Medicare generally does not call unexpectedly asking for personal information.
✅ Never provide sensitive information to an unsolicited caller.
✅ Hang up and contact Medicare directly if you are unsure.
A few minutes of caution can prevent thousands of dollars in losses and potential identity theft.
Protect Yourself. Verify Before You Trust.
