🔹 8-HOUR PRE-LICENSING COURSE
For individuals who want to become licensed Arkansas bail agents.
Arkansas requires pre-licensing education before you can apply for a professional bail bondsman license. This course begins with an introduction to how bail works and continues through 11 topic-based modules covering:
• Arkansas bail laws and Board rules
• Licensing requirements
• Operating a bail bond company
• Writing and executing bonds
• Premiums, fees, and collateral
• Forfeitures
• Surrenders and apprehensions
• Violations and disciplinary proceedings
Students also receive a printable study guide. After completing every module, you’ll take a 100-question online examination. Score 80% or higher, and your certificate will be issued instantly.
🔹 6-HOUR CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSE
For currently licensed Arkansas bail agents.
Every licensed Arkansas bail bondsman must complete six hours of continuing education each year to renew. Our online CE course includes 13 topic-based modules designed specifically for working agents.
In addition to Arkansas statutes and Board rules, the course examines important court decisions that shape the bail industry—including Arkansas appellate cases involving notice to the surety and leading cases addressing a surety’s right to apprehend a defendant.
Each module concludes with topic-specific review questions. Once all modules are completed, your six-hour CE certificate is issued automatically.
