Good news for buyers this week! 🏠

LORANGER — Paving operations are scheduled to begin this week on East and West Prevost Lane.

Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said Barriere Construction crews are scheduled to begin the process of paving East and West Prevost Lane during the week of September 22.

This is a continuation of the Phase 2025 overlay program. Miller said crews have completed more than 90 percent of the projects planned for this cycle, which should wrap up in the next few days.

During the week of September 22, work is scheduled in the following areas:

**Shoulder Dressing: South Lewiston, Brown Road (Village of Tangipahoa), Mandella, Jaelyn Drive, Briarwood, Trabona, West Black Cat, Frank, West Martin Luther King, and Perry;
**Paving Operations: East and West Prevost Lane.

In addition to the planned overlay operations, Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews will close Easley Road in the Village of Tangipahoa on Tuesday, September 30, for maintenance work. The roadway will be closed from 9 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m. so crews can install cross drains in multiple locations.

All work is weather-permitting, and motorists can expect intermittent delays in construction zones.
