OPEN ENROLLMENT - OBAMACARE - ON AND OFF THE MARKETPLACE

Hope this email finds you well. This is my new email address. On the first of november open enrollment starts and you may have gotten a letter notifying you the need of renewing your plan or picking a new one for 2017, since many carriers opted for not being in the individual insurance business anymore. Some of them are Aetna, Coventry,
Cigna, United Healthcare and some Humana Plans. My recommendation for 2017 will be BCBS. They are part of the ACA and for that reason will not exit the market. Voce ja deve ter recebido uma carta notificando a necessidade de renovar seu plano ou mesmo de escolher um novo pro ano que vem pois varias companhias optaram por nao mais fornecer seguros de saude individuais, entre ela Aetna, Coventry, Cigna, United Healthcare e alguns planos da Humana. Minha recomendacao pra 2017 seria a BcBs, pois como eles fazem parte da reforma dos seguros, dificilmente sairao do mercado. Se voce tem visto de estudante, tenho planos novos da Cigna Internacional. Se voce tem dupla cidadania tambem tenho planos novos que te cobrem tanto nos EUA como no Brasil, mas se voce declara imposto nao te isenta da multa ( mas as vezes vale a pena pagar a multa e ter um plano mundial )
Se voce esta ou conhece alguem que esteja aqui como turista tambem tenho um plano da Cigna, mas que nao eh internacional, alem dos planos Short Term.

If you still have no coverage, but fear what a hospital stay could cost in case of an emergency or a sudden illness, its worth it getting at least some Term coverage. There are many different plans, with different deductibles and some plans also include 2 - 4 doctor visits. People getting health coverage now, and that didnt have any for the previous month, will still get hit with a penalty for those missing month. Check out how much you will have to pay.
