🚨 Small Business Alert: "You've Received a Business Manager Partner Request"
If you receive an email with the subject "You've received a Business Manager partner request," don't click blindly.
Cybercriminals are increasingly using Meta's legitimate business tools to target small businesses and gain access to pages, Ad Accounts, customer data, and payment methods.
How the Scam Works
🎣 The Bait
You receive an official-looking email from a legitimate Meta address such as:
[email protected]
The message may claim:
• Your account has a problem
• You need to verify ownership
• You've been invited to a special agency or partner program
⚠️ The Trap
The email encourages you to click a link that leads to:
• Messenger conversations
• Fake Meta login pages
• Fraudulent websites designed to steal credentials
💸 The Result
Scammers may gain:
• Admin access to your page
• Access to your Ad Account
• Access to stored payment methods
• Control of your business assets
