We get a lot of calls about the border crossing these days. I just want to let you know that the US border guards here are pretty friendly and nonaggressive. We ask customers every day how they are treated as they come through and we haven’t heard any complaints so far. I know people are scared and hesitant., I would be too. I think our guards are using common sense and kindness so far. They aren’t searching cars or devices, don’t be scared to come to Point Roberts. If things change we’ll let you know!

New Hours starting this week:
Tuesday to Friday 9am to 5pm
We totally understand why our wonderful Canadian customers don’t want to buy goods from the US or cross the border right now. These are weird times. We don’t support the current administration, we continue to support Canada. In order for us to continue to serve you, our amazing customers who continue to choose to come to Point Roberts, we need to shorten our opening hours by 1 hour each day Tuesday through Friday.
We are saddened by the fact that one Parcel business, Point to Point Parcel, is closing as of the 19th. We hope this is not a sign of the times for The Point. We just barely got through the Pandemic, and now this. It’s truly heartbreaking.
Thank you for your patronage, for your support by continuing to use TSB Shipping. We’ve been in business since 1997! We will continue to offer the best customer service possible and hope to see you soon.

This is a good place to start to get an idea of how the stupid tariffs the Orange Menace has imposed on your fine and wonderful country will play out. MANY things sold in the USA are not made in the USA so check out what you buy carefully so as not to get hit with a 25% tariff. If you bought it in the USA but it was made elsewhere, no charge. Read the notice carefully too so you know what to expect.
Let me say that the US Senate today immediately voted to rescind the imposed tariffs on Canada but there is little hope of the House of Representatives passing this bill. It does give me some hope that there are some reasonable people wanting to make reasonable changes, just not enough of them yet.

From unfair tariffs that have strained our trade relationship to moments of disrespect toward Canadian leaders and values, we recognize that these actions do not reflect the deep bond between our nations. Canada and the United States have long stood together through economic partnership, military alliances, and shared democratic ideals. It is unacceptable when policies or rhetoric threaten that friendship rather than strengthen it. For any discontent caused to our Canadian customers we sincerely want you to know that we do not agree with the current administration. We hope the ties between our countries remain as strong as the spirit of mutual respect that has defined our relationship thus far. We deeply value and respect Canada—not just as an ally, but as family, a family that has been with us since 1997.

Please know that many millions of Americans feel as we do and do not support the policies of the current administration, nor do we condone the aggressive and dismissive rhetoric that has accompanied them. Oh look! TSB is open on Saturday July 1st 8am-4pm! HAPPY CANADA DAY!
There is a lot going on this weekend so come on down, pick up your package and head to the community center to visit the History Center and the outdoor Your Local Small Market. It may be small but the quality of products is amazing! will be there selling coffee and yummy baked goods. The weather is supposed to be perfect, head to the beach at Lighthouse Park or take a hike at Lily Point. You might see whales this weekend, they’ve been around a lot lately. Come to the Point!!

TSB a will be closed Saturday Dec 31, 2022, New Year’s Eve. We will reopen as usual Tuesday January 3, 2023 with regular hours.

TSB will be closed Thursday and Friday for the US Thanksgiving holiday. We will be open Saturday the 26th, 8am-4pm.
