If you purchased a home in 2017, you may be eligible for a $750 tax credit on your 2017 income taxes.

The First-Time Home Buyers' Tax Credit was introduced as part of Canada's Economic Action Plan to assist Canadians in purchasing their first home. It is designed to recover closing costs associated with purchasing a home such as legal expenses, inspection fees and land transfer tax.
