One of the things I appreciate most about VanDyk is that success is never the result of one person—it takes an entire team working together behind the scenes.

Today, I had a file close that did not even have a Clear to Close when I left for the day. We were waiting on the final inspection, which came in late yesterday afternoon.

Without me having to babysit the file, send reminders, or make a single phone call, the team jumped into action.

A huge shoutout to Chrissy for reviewing and clearing the file after hours, and to James for being on standby and getting docs out immediately. Because of their efforts, title received everything they needed, the borrowers signed today, and the loan closed on schedule.

Special thanks also to Lindsey, Connie, Tamara, McCall and the many others across operations who consistently make things happen behind the scenes. These wins don't happen because of one person—they happen because of a culture where everyone takes ownership and genuinely cares about getting families to the closing table.

As a branch manager, there is incredible peace of mind knowing that when I'm away from my desk, our team is still moving mountains for our borrowers and referral partners.

We have a phenomenal group of loan officers and sales leaders who meet **twice every week** to educate, motivate, advocate, collaborate, and solve real-world challenges together. It's not about competition—it's about making everyone better.

Last week, we had the privilege of learning from industry veterans **Bill McDonald** and **Brian Skaar**, who shared some incredible VA loan strategies, lesser-known guidelines, and practical tips that can make a huge difference for both veterans and loan officers.

As spring comes to a close and summer begins, I can't help but pause and reflect on how blessed May was.

I was honored to be recognized as one of VanDyk Mortgage's Top Performers for May, helping 14 families achieve homeownership. While I'm grateful for the recognition, what means the most to me isn't the number—it's the 14 families who trusted us to guide them through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

Every closing represents a story:
