My interest in investing started long before I became a financial advisor.

When I was young, my mom bought shares of Disney stock for my brother and me. Every Sunday, I'd open the Milwaukee Journal to check how our investment was doing. This was before the internet, so that newspaper was my way of following the market.

That curiosity stuck with me.

Over the years, I discovered something else I enjoyed just as much: connecting with people and helping them. Eventually, those two interests came together in a career that felt like a natural fit.

Today, the most meaningful part of my work isn't just helping someone plan for retirement or save for their child's education. It's being there when life gets complicated, when someone needs reassurance, or when they're unsure what comes next.

My goal is simple: meet people where they are, without judgment, and help them feel heard, supported, and more comfortable about their financial future.
Because behind every financial plan is a person, a family, and a story worth understanding.

"A kid on ice is seldom in hot water"

This weekend we sponsored a hockey clinic at Sheboygan Lakers Ice Center. Supporting local youth sports is a passion of ours, especially ice hockey. There are so many great things that come from events like this.

Witnessing Coach Ty Petzke from Prhockeyskills work with 22 kids spanning ages from 7-15 was really inspiring. Ty grew up at this rink, and has realized his dream by playing college hockey at Concordia. He clearly has a gift and a passion for leadership, and at such a young age, it is really impressive.

Then there are the kids, it was a Saturday afternoon, many of them had soccer, cross country or football in the morning. Yet they were all there, committed to their growth and giving their all. This is why I love supporting youth sports. It has the power to bring out the best in us.

Join us this Friday evening, Oct. 9th, from 6 to 9 pm for the free Opening Reception and Silent Auction of "Paint the Towns in Fall Color." We are delighted to feature pianist, Max Becker.

About Max: After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Max Becker moved to Sheboygan to bring music back to the forefront of his identity. Since then, Max has contributed his skills to numerous organizations in the Sheboygan area in both professional and volunteer capacities.

He is currently the full-time organist at Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he also serves as director of the handbell choir. Additionally, he is the accompanist for the Lakeshore Youth Chorale, sings in multiple choral groups, and collaborates with schools throughout the Lakeshore region of Wisconsin.
