Originally known as Wayne Out County Teachers Credit Union, Michigan Educational Credit Union (MECU) formed in 1942 when 28 teachers and educational employees pooled together $170 in assets. We serve individuals who reside, work, or worship in Wayne, Washtenaw, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Jackson Counties.
