Roers Companies is excited to announce the financial closing of Garnet at Urban Farm, a new mixed-use development coming to Bozeman, Montana!

Located in Bozeman's Urban + Farm neighborhood, Garnet will feature 148 market-rate apartments and more than 8,200 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Residents will enjoy amenities including a pool and hot tub, fitness center, golf simulator, sauna, co-working spaces, and more.

We paused to applaud our employees' efforts over the past quarter! 🎉

Last week, Roers Companies teams across our offices and jobsites took time to celebrate the end of the third quarter and recognize everyone's dedication and accomplishments.

Meet Sammy. She joined Roers Companies in 2019 as a Leasing Consultant. Today, she's a Construction Services Project Manager, overseeing construction projects across our North region.

Sammy's interest in construction started in high school, when she'd go out of her way just to watch a bridge being built. But it wasn't until she joined Roers Cos. that she discovered a path into construction. Her career has taken her from onsite leasing to building management, where she gained exposure to construction by learning about communities as they were being built. When an opportunity opened on the design team, she took it, eventually growing into her current role connecting design, development, ownership, and construction.

“Roers Companies opened a door into construction I never expected, especially coming from a journalism degree. Leadership’s trust in me has let me explore new career paths and grow in ways I hadn’t imagined — that trust is what’s kept me here.”

Meet Steven. He joined the Roers Companies team in 2022 as a Superintendent in Minnesota. Today, he is a Project Manager with Roers General Contracting (RGC) in Arizona.

His path in between has given him a unique perspective on how a project comes together. Steven moved from the field into our Construction Management team before returning to RGC in project management, gaining experience from both the contractor and owner sides of the business.

He also took his career more than 1,500 miles across the country. Relocating from the Midwest to Arizona gave Steven the opportunity to learn alongside a new team, take on different challenges, and expand his construction knowledge.

“Having worked in the field, on the owner side, and in project management has given me a broad perspective of the entire project lifecycle.”

We’re excited to announce the financial closing of Solhaus, a new 168-unit affordable housing community in Buckeye, Arizona!

Solhaus will provide apartment homes for households earning up to 60% of the area median income. The community will feature large homes with up to four-bedroom floor plans and amenities including a resort-style pool, fitness center, playground, dog run, and community gathering spaces.

Roers General Contracting (RGC) will begin construction this fall, with the first residents anticipated in 2028. Thank you to Arizona Industrial Development Authority, Arizona Department of Housing, and the rest of our financing and development partners involved in this project for helping bring Solhaus to this exciting milestone.

Throughout the third quarter, our teams found meaningful ways to enrich communities — benefiting the people, environment, and pets in our neighborhoods.

Through donation drives and volunteer efforts, our teams made an impact in the communities we serve:

— Supported The Bond Between through a pet supply donation drive in Minnesota, collecting 10 bags of food, 19 bags of treats, 60 cans of food, 3 sets of bowls, 6 litter boxes, 10 leashes, 2 cat carriers, and 12 medications to help rescue animals and the families who care for them.
— Donated 504 bottles of water through a water drive in Arizona, helping the Phoenix Rescue Mission meet an important community need during one of the hottest times of the year.
— Volunteered with Shoal Creek Conservancy in Texas, helping remove more than 500 pounds of litter from the creek and nearby trails to support a cleaner, healthier shared space for the Austin community.

Thank you to our teams for continuing to put our mission into motion and to the community partners who help make these efforts possible.

Roers Companies recently hosted two investor appreciation boat cruises on Lake Minnetonka, welcoming a combined 174 investor partners for an evening of connection, conversation, and appreciation.

These annual events provide an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, strengthen relationships, and thank our investors for the trust they continue to place in us.
