Happy Father's Day to all the Papas, daddies, grandpa's, uncles, Godfathers and father figures out there! Life got better when Jenny and I had our kiddos. Being a State Farm agent is wonderful... But it pales in comparison to being a dad and husband.

My Father's Day wish to you is that when you make a joke that it gets the laughs we all know it deserves.

Memorial Day Weekend is often considered the unofficial start to the summer filled with BBQs, boating and time with family & friends. While you enjoy this amazing weather we hope you remember the purpose - to honor and remember fallen soldiers. Fun fact: while Memorial Day became a federal holiday in 1971, one of the earliest documented ceremonies happened after the Civil War ended in 1865.

Special shout out to our very own Tori, who is raising two fantastic young women. Also, special shout out to my own wonderful mom, my beautiful wife and my very very understanding mother-in-law. 😀 Your selflessness with your kiddos is unmatched. (And I'm counting myself in with the "kiddo" comment!!)

My daughter drew this for me tonight. Today is Earth Day. (I didn't know it until she made this drawing!) I decided to learn a bit about Earth Day. It started back in 1970 and was inspired by the anti-war movement and an oil spill that happened in 1969. The intent was to bring environmental concerns to politicians. When that happened it led to the begining of the EPA, Clean Air and Clean Water Acts. There ya go! Happy Earth Day! Go plant a tree. 🌳
