Your pre-IPO stock might buy the house before the IPO does.

Most banks say private company shares do not count until they trade. A small set of portfolio lenders counts vested shares as added income on top of your salary, and you keep every share. Nothing gets pledged and nothing gets sold. We did this before the SpaceX IPO and on OpenAI stock while it is still private, case by case.

Starting Thursday March 5th, Trigger leads are supposed to be illegal!!

A trigger lead is when someone pulls your credit report and then Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union sell your information to telemarketers. In our industry it had gotten so bad that some people recieved 100 phone calls the day we pulled a credit report.

Now those 3 can only sell to your exiting mortgage holder or a company you are currently doing business with.
