ROUSES POINT BRANCH UPDATE ‼️

We know it’s been a minute since we’ve provided an update so here is the latest on the new Rouses Point branch. ⬇️
Over the past several months, we have been working hard behind the scenes, finalizing the property purchase, building design, permitting and all of the many details that go into a project like this. Along the way, we’ve hit a few unexpected delays.
Most recently, we have been focused on finding the right local contractors to bring this beautiful new branch we have envisioned to reality, while also ensuring that local contractors are available and ready to make it happen.
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the start of physical construction until Spring 2027, due to the lack of local contractor availability.
While we are all excited to see those shovels hit the ground, we believe waiting is the right choice. This is a significant investment in the future of UFirst and the Northern Tier, and we want to get it right, not just get it started. UFirst is committed to working with local contractors and building something our members, team and community can be proud of for years to come.
Soon, billboard signage will be going up on our Champlain Street property so you will get a better picture of our future home. We hope this gives our community a glimpse of what’s to come!
Most importantly, our commitment to Rouses Point, the surrounding communities, our members, and our team remains unchanged.
In the meantime, Kelcie, Kristy, and Shelby are still ready to welcome you at our temporary location at 483 Route 11.
You may not hear additional updates about the construction process until we are closer to breaking ground in the spring.

We know waiting isn’t always easy, especially when you’re excited about what’s coming. But we also know that doing things the right way matters, and this community deserves something we can all be proud of.
