Today is the big day for Bumpkins Halloween 🎉

Brandy & Carrie joined them last night and even got to hang out with the Thera-Pets new rooster!

Brandy, Kelcie and Soly are looking forward to a busy day of checking people in at the gate, so make sure you say hi! 🎃

We were happy to participate in the Schluter-Systems wellness day yesterday for the second year in a row alongside 27 community partners & businesses!

Shelby E. spent the day watching employees test their luck at Plinko (this was a fan favorite), answer financial questions and chat about the benefits of a credit union when in comes to financial wellness!

One of the best parts of the day was hearing all of the kind words from current members and how much they value our team members, services and products they have received; a few of them have been members since before we were officially UFirst!

One of our favorite things to do is meet members where they are in more ways than one and our U@Work program does just that by bringing tailored financial education sessions, member discounts and more right to team members of participating employers! Learn more here: ufirstfcu.net/ufirst-at-work

The UFirst team had a fun filled Saturday!

Shawn kicked of the day with fellow Plattsburgh Rotary members at the last North Country Honor Flight of the season; it was a beautiful morning to honor our local hero’s. 🇺🇸

Shelby E enjoyed helping with the pumpkin decorating station at Miner Institute for their Fall Fest & 5k that helps support the nursing program. And you know she took every opportunity to pet the animals & snuck some delicious bites from Whistle Stop Fusion Barbecue & Craft Mocktails!

Several team members spent their evening supporting the Pink on the Plaza event that raised money for the American Cancer Society. Our very own Shawn is a proud member of the Men Wear Pink Campaign and the team was excited to rally behind him at the event.

We were joined by members of the SUNY Plattsburgh Men's Hockey Team & the SUNY Plattsburgh Women’s Hockey Team and got to dunk coach Moffat in the dunk tank we sponsored at the event! One of the players even shaved their head in honor of everyone battling cancer.

This is what credit unions stand for, people helping people and showing up when it matters. We are grateful for a team who shows up even on their days off to bring hope and fun to our communities!
