With Medicare Advantage plans, you’ll have a specific network of doctors, hospitals, and specialists. If you want to see a provider outside that network, your coverage may be limited—or you may not have coverage at all, except in certain situations. You’ll also typically have copays, coinsurance, and other out-of-pocket expenses.
My recommendation has always been, and continues to be, Original Medicare paired with a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) policy.
