This is one I'll never forget... Manny & Jessica came to me in mid-January, having their dreams of buying this beautiful BRAND NEW home dashed by a builder's in-house lender. The builder's lender could not approve them for this purchase because Manny is self-employed and like a lot of self-employed folks, he didn't show much income on his tax returns.
