This is how you can reduce your rate by 2%. This is gonna be for people's rates over 7.5. So to get you to a 2% reduction rate, we're gonna use an example of 375,000 on a 30 year fixed at 7.5. The current principal interest payment on that is 2,622 a month.

What we're gonna do is refinance to get you down to 6.5%. That's gonna be 2,370 a month. That's gonna be what you're paying years 2 through 30. So you're already saving money there. On top of that, Cornerstone is gonna buy down 1% to 5.5%.

So you'll be paying $2,129 a month, months 1 through 12. That's $493 in savings a month. That's no money out of pocket. For more information, reach out today.

"You probably know how much we love the Credit Builder Card because of how quickly it can help you increase (or even generate) your score.
We are super excited to announce that the Credit Builder Card is now available in ALL 50 STATES! So no matter where your clients are located, they have access to a secured card that can help them build their scores much quicker than a typical credit card.
In most scenarios we suggest that your potential borrower goes to apply for two (2) Credit Builder Cards. These tradelines will come through as First Progress, revolving (secured credit cards), and each will have a limit of $200.
The 2 cards will show up in the mail in 2-3 weeks with the annual fee charge of $39 on each, but the scores should produce much quicker.
Reporting Date Detail:
- The Credit Builder Card has 6 reporting dates a month: the 4th, 7th, 12th, 17th, 22nd, and 27th of each month.
- As a general rule, if a client is approved at least 2 business days before the next reporting date, they will be reported on that date to all 3 bureaus. It will then take a few business days for the bureaus to post that tradeline to the consumer's credit report. There are rare situations where a bureau will lag in posting that tradeline to the consumer's file, but most of the time the tradeline shows up right away after it's reported.

Credit cards are credit cards, the limit of the card isn't what impacts your score it's how much you use and how responsible you are with paying it back. If you're only getting offers for low limit cards or secured cards, you more than likely haven't had a great history of being responsible with them. Here's the good news, if you can prove to creditors that's a thing of the past and that you're responsible now – you'll start to see those better offers rolling in.
