Credit unions aren’t built for shareholders.
They’re built for people.
For relationships that last decades, not transactions that last minutes.
For communities, not quarterly profits.
That’s why credit union advocacy matters.

We’d love to hear from young professionals. Share your stories in the comments and tell us what the credit union difference means to you. 👇

🌟 YP Spotlight: Meet Zoey Mathews, who makes an impact by turning financial education into empowerment—one member at a time.

As a loan support specialist at Clearway Credit Union in Malvern, Ark., she has been in the credit union industry for 3.5 years. She says her favorite part of working in the movement is educating and empowering her community to be their best, financially free selves.

Zoey is currently reading Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen, and she credits her aunt as her role model for her wisdom, patience, kindness, authenticity, and willingness to help others even when it is difficult.

Outside of work, Zoey enjoys rewatching High School Musical, binge-watching Gravity Falls, and indulging in cheesecake. If she could have any superpower, she says it would be the power to heal because “a lot can be conquered when you feel like your best self.”
