Big news, friends 🚀

We are beyond excited to officially kick off our Plano office expansion! We’re leveling up from 5,500 sqft to an incredible 10,500 sqft, and construction on the buildout starts THIS week!

After weeks of planning, designing, and dialing in the tech, we’ll be moving into our brand new space (just downstairs 👀) and taking things to a whole new level on June 1st!

The past 6 years have been nothing short of amazing. When you combine bold decisions with the absolute best team in the industry, you don’t just grow, you dominate.

We didn’t come here to follow the industry standard practices… we came to disrupt it, elevate it, and redefine ethics and what’s possible. We’re just getting started.

No ceilings. No limits. No stopping us now. 🔥

⭐Member Spotlight: Jessica Devenny⭐

As Director of Client Services, Jessica Devenny brings more than 10 years of experience in client services, with a background spanning Human Resources, Real Estate, and now leadership as Director of Client Services. She’s known for building trust, exceeding expectations, and delivering a seamless client experience from start to finish.

If you had to describe our team in three words, what would they be?

Unconventional. Audacious. High-energy.

“They’re sharp, hardworking, and professional—but absolutely not cut from the same mold. The team does things their own way, and it works. They take risks, push boundaries, and don’t shy away from bold moves or bold personalities. Everyone is different—goofy, maybe a little chaotic—but in a way that’s lovable, effective, and somehow always results in brilliance. And I can’t forget hilarious. We’re the biggest bag of mixed nuts, and I absolutely love it.”

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?

“I actually had to ask ChatGPT this question—because I’ve never really thought about what people assume about me. After reading the response, though, I realized how accurate it is (even if the last one might be a little generous):”

I’m fiercely analytical behind the scenes
I have the skillset of three different careers (including being a chef and holding a real estate license)
My creativity is a hidden powerhouse
I’m extremely spiritual and introspective
I carry major responsibilities quietly
I’m an introvert disguised as an extrovert
My job is far more technical than people realize

Today we’re proud to highlight one of the driving forces behind Ryan & Jacobs — Jesse Rios, Chief Operating Officer.

Jesse brings more than 15 years of expertise in Client Relations, Business Development, and Strategic Leadership to her role. As COO, she oversees company-wide operations, leads our team with clarity and purpose, and ensures our long-term vision is reflected in every department and initiative.
Known for her ability to create operational efficiency while fostering a culture of collaboration, Jesse is highly skilled in mediation, conflict resolution, team building, and mentorship. She holds a B.S. from UT Dallas and is currently pursuing her MBA, continuing to sharpen her leadership and strategic development skills.

To help you get to know her better, we asked Jesse a few questions:

1️⃣ What is your favorite part of working with our team?

“My favorite part of working with our team is seeing the way everyone shows up for one another. There’s a real sense of camaraderie here—people don’t just do their jobs; they support each other, celebrate wins together, and push through challenges side by side. Watching that level of teamwork in action inspires me every day and reminds me why what we’re building matters.”

"Outside of work, I enjoy unplugging and spending quality time with the people who matter most to me. Whether it’s a quiet evening with family, getting outdoors to reset, or taking time to grow personally and reflect, those moments help me stay grounded. They give me the energy and clarity I need to show up as the best version of myself for our team."

Today we’re highlighting one of the cornerstone leaders at Ryan & Jacobs, Hal Wallace III, Co Owner and President. Hal brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial collections, mediation, skip-tracing, asset discovery, account reconciliation, and financial services. Originally from Dallas, he’s known for his deep industry knowledge, unwavering integrity, and for always being accompanied by his loyal Cane Corso, Artie.

We asked Hal a few questions about his journey and leadership. His answers speak for themselves:

💬 What inspired you to join Ryan & Jacobs?

“What inspired me to join Ryan & Jacobs was the belief that business can be both successful and redemptive. When I got sober eight years ago, I realized how powerful it is when someone gives you an opportunity to rebuild your life. I wanted to create a place where people in recovery could do the same - a company that values integrity, accountability, and growth. Watching individuals transform their lives while helping businesses recover what they’re owed has been one of the most meaningful parts of my career. Ryan & Jacobs isn’t just a collection agency, it’s living proof that you can run a successful business while making a real difference in people’s lives.”

💬 What’s the biggest misconception about using a collection agency?

“Most companies think hiring a collection agency means things have gone bad or that it’s only for when you’re ready to burn bridges. That couldn’t be further from the truth. We help resolve issues faster, preserve relationships, and give clients the leverage and documentation they need, often preventing litigation.”

🔹 What is your favorite hobby outside of work?
“Trying new trendy restaurants in Dallas and NYC. I'm a foodie! (And it shows lol) Food is art, food is love.”
