So why does it feel like you're still figuring it out? Let me guess:
โ†’ Paycheck hits, bills get paid, whatever's left just disappears
โ†’ Maxing your 403(b) because that's what everyone said to do
โ†’ Student loans hanging over you with no clear end date
โ†’ You keep saying "we should be further along by now"
โ†’ Every financial decision feels like a guess

You didn't spend years in school and clinicals

to stress about money on top of 12-hour shifts. But here's the problem:
Traditional financial advice doesn't work for PAs and NPs. "Just budget and max your 401k" doesn't help when your benefits packet is 90 pages of jargon, your student loans have a dozen repayment options, and you're too exhausted to sort through any of it. You don't need generic advice for "high earners." You need someone who gets your world. I'm married to Katie, an NP in trauma. I built MedPro Financials because I saw how hard clinicians workโ€”and how little support they get with money. Here's what changes when we work together:
โ†’ You know where your money goes before you spend it
โ†’ Your student loans have a strategy, not just a payment
โ†’ Your income is protected if something happens
โ†’ Saving 15-20% happens automatically
โ†’ You stop guessing and start building

If you're a PA, NP, or physician who's tired of feeling behind despite working this hard, I'd love to learn more about your situation. Book a 20-minute intro: www.MedProFinancials.com

You're a great saver that might actually be the problem.

The most common money mistake I see with PAs and NPs isn't overspending it's freezing on the next step so the money just sits in checking doing nothing.

How confident are you and your financial plan?

The scariest time in a new PA or NP's financial life isn't when you're broke. It's the first year you finally have real money.

Swipe through for the three moves to make before you lock a single dollar away.
Save it for your first paycheck, and send it to someone who just passed their boards.

New PAs and NPs: Before your first paycheck, what would you tackle first?

Here are the three things that I would consider doing day one after graduating PA/NP school.

SpaceX just went public yesterday. Biggest IPO in history.

Everyone's asking me if they should buy it.
Here's my honest answer โ€” I'm not.

Not because it's a bad company or anything it's a fascinating one and pretty cool.

But chasing a single stock at a $1.75 trillion valuation on day one is not a financial plan.

Kt's a lottery ticket.

The medical professionals I work with don't need more risk. They need more structure.

Diversification isn't exciting.

But it's what actually builds wealth over time... without betting your financial future on one company's next quarter.

This is not investment advice. Just how I personally think about it.

What do you think โ€” did you buy SPCX?

I never used to nap.
Now I catch a couple micro naps on the weekend.

Fifteen minutes in bed or on the couch while the house is somehow quiet.
And every time I wake up I have the same thought.

I wish that was longer.
Twins that don't sleep through the night yet. Two older kids who want time, and deserve it.

A pool that still isn't open.
A yard that needs me.
A practice I'm still running every day.

Somewhere in there I'm supposed to find time for me too.
I'm not complaining...I would chose all of this and I'd choose it again.

But nobody really tells you that the hardest part of a full life isn't any one thing.

It's that all of it is happening at once, and you're the one holding it together.

So the fifteen minutes stay.

For the parents reading this who are running on empty right now: what's the one thing you've quietly let slide just to keep everything else standing?

Physicians - come join us over at SERMO tonight.

1. Review what your wealth building potential is.

2. Looking at a high-level protection overview.

3. Looking at the different types and purposes

of life insurance.

4. Talk about long-term care planning.

5. Arguably most important in my opinion: the right type of long-term disability insurance every physician should own.

Tonight is part 3 of our financial literacy series for the Sermo physician community.

We do these regularly because most physicians were never actually taught how to manage the income they worked so hard to earn.

So far we've covered investment planning cash flow and retirement but tonight we're closing the loop on the piece most doctors get wrong:

which is protecting your income your single most important asset.
