TAMID at Pitt

TAMID at Pitt TAMID is a student-led organization that develops the professional skills of students through hands on interactions with the Israeli economy.

TAMID Group is a student-led initiative that pioneers the next generation of American commitment to Israel by connecting students at top universities with the Israeli economy. This is achieved through a comprehensive curriculum geared towards the sustained continuous engagement of business-minded students from all disciplines consisting of an educational program, a student-managed investment fund,

a consulting practice, and a summer fellowship in Tel Aviv that sends interns to Israeli startups. Through TAMID, students have the opportunity to both invest a small fund in Israeli publicly traded securities and directly engage Israeli businesses through strategic consulting projects. This allows them to develop skills that align with their professional aspirations while simultaneously facilitating a deeply rooted connection with the Israel. At the conclusion of each academic year, a select group of TAMID members culminate their experience by spending a summer interning at prominent Israeli companies. TAMID currently exists on 24 campuses and is rapidly expanding.

Meet Rayna!
"My name is Rayna Saltzman and I am from Dallas, TX. I'm a freshman majoring in Bioinformatics and minoring in Chemistry and Computer Science. I'm actively involved in Hillel, Chabad, and Panthers for Israel on campus. I am also very involved in the AIPAC community as a campus delegate. In my free time, I enjoy watching hockey, traveling, and knitting. I became a member of TAMID because I'm extremely passionate about the Israeli innovation scene and the world of start-ups. Getting the opportunity to work with both Pittsburgh and Israeli start-ups will be great experience that will help shape my future profession and give me real insight into what my intended field of work will consist of."

"Hi, my name is Lauren Greenwald, and I’m a freshman from Scranton, PA. I am currently pursuing a dual major in political science and communications.
