Of course insurance companies would be against this. Not much money in it for them. In the article it says choice would be limited, but people on Medicare can see anyone that accepts Medicare, (approximately 98% of all doctors and facilities in the country) unless they add a Medicare Advantage Plan which limits them to the network of the plan. I think it would be a good solution. Most people on Medicare like it. What are your thoughts?
