Greater Pittsburgh Federal Credit Union GPFCU has served the Greater Pittsburgh area since 1955. The University of Pittsburgh was the original sponsor for the credit union.

The University of Pittsburgh Federal Credit Union was founded November 25, 1955 and started in the basement of the Cathedral of Learning. In January 1992, the credit union changed its name to Greater Pittsburgh Federal Credit Union. For over 20 years, the credit union has been located in historic Webster Hall in Oakland. Our Webster Hall Branch in Oakland will be undergoing construction improvements from June 8–12. The branch will remain open, but a few temporary adjustments will be in place during construction week.
• Member Services will temporarily operate from Suite 106
