Founded in 2011, the CMU Summit aims to share common interests, inspire innovation and entrepreneurship, and promote regional and international competence.

CMU Summit is a high-profile forum where leading entrepreneurs, policymakers, venture capitalists, and scholars from China and the United States gather to address cutting-edge issues in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, High Technology, Financial Technology, Energy. Since the first CMU Summit, it has attracted over 4000 participants and gained support from more than 150 industry leaders including,

IEA and CPDC jointly hosted the Global Opportunities Fair on 9/28 (9/29 CST). International and Chinese companies that participated in the fair included: Tencent, Sony, Asus, Meituan, Xiaomi, Kuaishou, Tata Group, Shimo Docs, Stardust.ai, JQ Investment, Information Development Co., Ltd, and US-China Common Concern Committee. Compared to last year, this year’s event attracted more prominent companies and more Carnegie Mellon students. 700+ students participated in the fair, 580+ students participated in info sessions, and 120 students had 1:1 conversations with company representatives. Thank you to all of the staff and participants for making the event a success!

IEA and CPDC are jointly hosting the Global Opportunities Fair on Monday September 28th from 9pm-12am EDT. Through this event, IEA aims to provide more job opportunities for international students and aid in the recruiment process for companies that offer visa sponsorships or jobs opportunities to CMU students. This virtual event, hosted via Handshake, features a number of multinational companies in technology and finance. Compamies including Sony, ASUS, Tencent, Tata Group, Xiaomi, Meituan, and China Asset Managment Company offerd many full-time and internship positions to Carnegie Mellon Students.
