FINALLY SOME MOVEMENT. had to hire a new plumber than ended up being a total sh*tshow (his cat ran away so he missed half a day on DAY 1, then his van brokedown like 3 times a few days later, then it was our fault framing wasn’t done…just unprofessional altogether). What should have been a 4 day rough-in turned into 3 weeks and we finally fired him and moved on. That delay pushed our drywall back and our drywall guys who we love were already booked so proceeded to hire an “experienced” drywall crew that was available just to maintain our timeline…fired them after 4 days cause clearly they had no clue. Ended up waiting for our regular drywall crew so house sat for 2 weeks and while we are delayed a few weeks, we are at least finally moving forward again with our regular crew that knows what they are doing. That drywall guy we tried to hire took the job for the money…PEOPLE PLZ DO NOT TAKE JOBS YOU DON’T HAVE THE SKILLSET TO DO!!!! Note to self: Don’t trust people you don’t know…especially here in Pittsburgh where everyone is a “contractor” but nobody has standards. Rant over.
