Scammers can fake caller ID information to make calls appear as though they’re coming from trusted organizations like financial institutions, government agencies, utility companies, or even local phone numbers.

This tactic is known as “Caller ID Spoofing,” and it’s used to gain your trust and pressure you into sharing sensitive information. ⚠️

During these calls, scammers may claim there’s a problem with your account, suspicious activity, or an urgent issue that requires immediate action. They may ask for:
• Debit/credit card numbers
• Account information
• Online banking login details
• Passwords or one-time passcodes

💡 Protect yourself:
