Many thanks to Commercial Observer for contacting our Chamber CEO, Beth Rheingold, for a statement on the Francis Scott Key bridge collapse. We continue to field calls from businesses, concerned citizens, and even visitors planning trips to the area. We are in close communication with Maryland Chamber of Commerce, and grateful for their lead on helping to coordinate leadership to provide resources and relief. Remember: chambers are nonprofits here to serve and support the business community. For profit networking groups are great, but it's your chamber of commerce that is going to coordinate with county, state, and federal agencies and advocate on your behalf. You can count on the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce to do just that. We will continue to update the business community as the situation develops.
