Congratulations to Tom Edgington, Loan Officer on our Kennett, MO team, for graduating from the prestigious Barret School of Banking program!
The Barret School of Banking is an intensive, multi-year leadership and banking education program designed to strengthen the next generation of banking professionals. Graduates complete advanced coursework focused on banking management, leadership development, lending, finance, strategy and the ever-evolving financial industry.
Completing this program takes dedication, hard work and a true commitment to professional growth. Congratulations, Tom, on this well-deserved achievement!
We would also like to recognize Mike Hobbs, Community Bank President in Dexter, MO, for his outstanding leadership and service to the banking industry. Mike was recently named Chairman of the Barret Graduate School of Banking Board of Regents and had the distinct honor of delivering this year's commencement address to the graduating class.
Having one FM Bank & Trust team member graduate from this highly respected program while another serves as Chairman of its Board of Regents is a testament to the caliber of leadership, expertise and dedication found throughout our organization. We are incredibly proud of both Tom and Mike for representing FM Bank & Trust so well.

FM Bank & Trust proudly congratulates Elizabeth Fennel and Olivia Blackwell of Piggott High School on being selected as recipients of the Gaylon Lawrence Memorial Scholarship.

Each student has been awarded an $8,000 scholarship in recognition of their academic achievement, leadership and commitment to their future goals.

This scholarship represents a meaningful investment in the next generation of leaders. We are honored to celebrate Elizabeth and Olivia and look forward to all they will accomplish in the years ahead. Congratulations, Elizabeth and Olivia!

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, service and selflessness gave us freedoms we often take for granted.

As we spend time with family and friends this weekend, may we also take a moment to remember those who never made it home and the families who continue to carry their legacy.
