James was such a great coach, dad and mentor to all who knew him! He deserves this for sure! 💗 So glad Matthew had the privilege to learn from him!
Thank you to Herff Jones Michigan for honoring our beloved athletic director and varsity baseball coach, James Welch, with a Hall of Fame ring. Mr. Welch was instrumental in starting Peck Athletics Hall of Fame and was posthumously inducted into the 2026 class along with his 1994 baseball teammates. Accepting the ring on his behalf are his wife, Shane, his son, Grady, and baseball coach Jennifer Kluger.
