Oahe Federal Credit Union has been providing services to employees of City of Pierre and Ft. Pierre, State of South Dakota, Hughes and Stanley Counties, Federal Government, South Dakota Retailers (statewide), Capital Area Counseling, Avera St. Mary’s, Pierre Head Start, Pierre Indian Learning Center, Klein’s Office, and School Systems of Pierre and their immediate family members.

On June 26, 1934, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the Federal Credit Union Act into law, paving the way for federally chartered credit unions across the country! That single signature helped launch a movement built on one simple idea:

People helping people.

92 years later, that mission is still at the heart of everything we do at Oahe Federal Credit Union. We're proud to be member-owned, community-focused, and committed to helping our members achieve financial success every day.
